Orchestra Concert Attire

Concert Attire GHS Orchestra Concert Attire is now being handled by LeSueur’s Tuxedo in Mesa. The concert attire will be unisex moving forward. All GHS Orchestra Students are to wear a uniform for all of our performances. GHS and LeSueur’s offer a convenient way to purchase your concert attire through LeSueur’s Tuxedo. Students will be fitted for uniforms during class on Monday, July 31. Please visit the LeSueur’s website below to purchase your uniform no later than Saturday, August 19. Uniforms will be delivered to the school in late-August, prior to the first concert performance. In addition to their uniform order, students will be required to obtain their own black belt, black socks and black dress shoes (closed-toe). Students will wear their concert uniform all four years of high school for every performance, so you will never be asked to purchase a different uniform. These uniforms are yours to KEEP and orchestra fees have been lowered to accommodate the requirement of PURCHASING concert attire this year. All concert attire MUST come from LeSueur’s and CANNOT be matching clothes from another outlet, just to ensure that we all match 100%. I would also recommend that you do NOT wear this attire outside of our concerts and performances to protect from wear and tear. 

If your child grows out of their uniform please contact LeSueur’s for altering. 

Here’s a brief overview of the options for our students:

Option 1: Students will need to purchase a long-sleeve black button down dress shirt and black dress pants (from LeSueur’s), as well as provide black dress shoes and black socks. Athletic shoes/sneakers are not appropriate for formal concerts. 

Option 2: Students will need to purchase a long-sleeve black dress shirt and provide a long (ankle length) black dress skirt. Additionally, you will need black dress shoes and black tights/hose; athletic shoes/sneakers/flip-flops are not appropriate for formal concerts.

For your convenience, LeSueur’s also provides the option to purchase dress shoes, dress socks, and a garment bag. These items are optional.
